Through ongoing collaboration with the Garrison Health team, Cursor devised a content plan based on their core goals for the application and focused on telling their brands complete story. Various content types were separated into silos, which were then interlinked to promote a more organic navigation pattern throughout the website.
The planning phase was spent establishing the exact navigational elements and visual composition for all the necessary templates. Detailed data, user, and site maps were created to outline how each content type should be defined and integrated with one another. A high definition prototype was then created to visually communicate every component, interaction, and feature that would be included in the final product.
After a deep dive into existing assets in search of elements that matched the Garrison Health branding guide, Cursor collaborated with Rachelle Letain to create a style guide composed of clean lines, bright accent colours, and a revamped typography system. We extended this to the user interface elements and animation flourishes, with great attention paid to ensure the final design worked across all devices and platforms intuitively and cohesively in a visually impactful way.
Throughout the development process Cursor was especially mindful of how the content would be managed and interconnected. Administrative customizations were added to the content management system, allowing the Garrison Health team to easily create and connect data. This allowed for the creation of unique navigation pathways, providing a seamless experience for users to explore content from wherever they were on the page. A variety of features and integrations were also included, such as maps, social media sharing, live text search for all content types, client managed advertising, and lead and email marketing acquisition.
Past versions of the Garrison Health site had never taken advantage of analytics, leaving them unable to establish insights into their visitor patterns. Cursor was sure that the new version had metrics and reporting so that the Garrison Health team could access detailed page, behaviour, audience, and search result data. They were also given the ability to create, monitor, and refine diverse campaign tracking and analyze social media impact.
